Hello, my name is Bobi-Razvan Ganta and my number is 3647 and I work at Tesco Grocery on the night shift, I am writing here with the hope that justice will be done and measures will be taken against the people who discriminated against me, who they treated me with an unimaginable indifference that affected my life both mentally, physically and mentally, but also my personal life with my family. I will try to tell you in general what it is about and how I feel at the present moment after almost a year.. Last year 2022.03 I was accused of sexual harassment by a work colleague, the manager Stefan took me the statement in the first phase and I discussed with him that I did not do such a thing and I have no reason to do such a thing because I am married and have a family. After all his meaningless questions like whether I had a relationship with my co-worker, or if my wife knows about her, I asked for a thorough investigation and whoever lies to be punished in accordance with the company’s policy, because the warehouse is supervised with cameras. After a few days, he put me in the investigation, bringing accusations, just as I touched my co-worker and asked to see the cameras, we went together with the representative from the union, managers and my witness let’s see them and it turned out that I’m not lying and that the young lady who accused me lied, I asked to make a grievance but the managers sent me home sick in the system without my approval or a sheet from the doctor, I sent letters, emails to all managers, and after a month or so I received a letter to show up for the meeting with Savannah. I introduced myself and explained what it was all about but in vain because he didn’t believe me and started sending me from one manager to another even to another warehouse under the pretext that the investigation is done, I insisted with gmail and letters to justice is being done that I have evidence and witnesses and that this situation is affecting my life, I explained that my wife is pregnant and they all knew because my wife also works in the same warehouse and that this situation created by the managers and my co-worker is affecting my wife’s pregnancy my. Of course they didn’t care and they put me off for so long that 8 months passed by sitting at home and partially paid as they wanted, which affected my financial side, I insisted and the representative from union to clarify the situation as soon as possible because I am losing overtime hours, night shift premium, weekend premium which for me and my family means a lot, I insisted countless times to return to work because I became indebted to the bank and to friends , I ran out of money.. after 8 months and countless investigations, Rebekah’s decision was No federal Action!!! All he told me was that if I want to go back to work, I should go back if it’s not strictly my problem, but if I don’t go back, I’ll lose my job, and that the colleague who lied about the accusation brought will not be fired, I explained both verbally and in writing that this case literally affected my life so much that I went to the doctors and had countless treatments, it affected me mentally, physically, mentally, financially, even my wife’s pregnancy (my little girl was born 2 weeks earlier than the deadline due to the stress caused by this case, according to the doctors in question), the relationship with my wife as well as with my family (siblings and parents), ruined my image, reputation and relationship with friends, but of course that they didn’t take me into account and told me that they can’t make me another Appel and that I can choose what I want to do by inducing me to resign, I tried to explain to them that as long as the lying colleague and managers who have plotted to destroy my life I can’t go back because I don’t feel safe treated like c other colleagues and prepared to see again those who destroyed my life. The 2nd day when I came to work again, I went straight to the office to make a complaint about what happened the night before, but the surprise Manager Mick Colbert suspended me on the grounds of Inappropriate Behavior and led me out of the warehouse. after almost a month they contacted me through a sheet to go to the meeting, when I went to the meeting together with the representative from the Jaimes Union and the representative asked him who accused me of such a thing. The manager in question suspended the meeting and us. he sent me home until they contact me, after 2 or 3 weeks I received a sheet in which it says to present myself at the meeting but without Jaimes, the representative from the union, being scared of losing my job, I presented myself without the representative from the union , in the meeting I was interviewed and we looked at the cameras that proved the truth of what I stated and that I did not lie about anything and the manager, after seeing that what I said was true, sent me home nonchalantly and without a bird saying .to wait until the Officer Manager contacts me, of course I tried to explain to him again that just as in the case where I was accused of sexual harassment, I proved that I am right and that I am not lying and that something is strange in the middle with the managers in question and that it is mentally causing me to resign, I explained again that I have no money and that I want to finish the investigation as soon as possible in order to work and not take away my right to overtime, night shift premium and weekend premium because that money really means a lot to me and my family, especially at this moment when I am buried by debts caused by their fault, of course he didn’t care and spoke to me carelessly telling me to go home and wait. Now I’m at home and I can’t sleep because of what happened, spots started to appear on me because of the stress, my hair falls out, I can’t breathe when you touch me… I’m afraid that the owner will come to me take the family out because I don’t have money for rent, I’m afraid of the bank because I also have debt with them and I’m unimaginably ashamed of the few friends who stayed with me and helped me with money because I have nowhere to return them, I beg you to take the right measures and help me, please make things right as soon as possible, I don’t know what to do..:(((((((((((((((( with the fear of God and honor to do justice to both me and those around me, thank you and I am waiting for you to contact me as soon as possible with good news because I am mentally on the ground. I recently ordered an item from yourselves to be delivered within 48hrs. 96hrs have passed, no delivery. The item was was a 48 piece tool box with tools. I would like to know if it was a genuine advert on line or have I been scammed.?
Tesco Barkingside left me deeply disappointed with an unfortunate incident, and the behavior of manager Alina was unprofessional and aggressive. This experience has unfortunately led me to reconsider my continued patronage of the store.
Let’s face it. Tesco don’t give a toss about complaints or they’d have a dedicated team who took all your details, investigated properly, then fed back the results of those investigations. Instead they have a call centre in Scotland manned by people who are paid to listen to you rant, while making sympathetic noises. They then tell you how valuable your feedback is but (surprise suprise) they cannot take the same trouble you’ve just taken, to get back to you.
